CONSULTATION
We offer our professional opinion on the best paint finish and type for your project and would be happy to bring samples of paint to show you. We have extensive knowledge of paint, and we only use the best products available.
PROTECTION
The plants, furniture, and barbecues are all covered with plastic or drop cloths to prevent damage during exterior painting. We work with you to close all the windows and storm windows or come up with some other solution to ensure the paint stays where it belongs.
SURFACE SETUP
To ensure the longevity of your exterior paint job, we take the following precautions:
• Remove any dirt or mildew.
• Create the best adhesion surface possible.
• Surfaces will be pressure washed.
• Prime, caulk, and putty in places that require it.
• Look for any damaged or rotten wood. (If any wood needs to be replaced or repaired, we will work with you to make that happen.)
• Nail down any loose boards or protruding nails.
PREPARE WINDOWS
In order to protect your windows from paint, we may need to remove the screens and panes before beginning. Everything that was taken down during the project (including gutters, storm windows, shutters, and so on) will be reinstalled when it is finished.
